Billable Items:  These are the charges that will appear on your Lewis University student account while you are in France.  You are not required to participate in the AIFS Airfare and London Orientation Option if you want to travel directly to the site independently.

Non-Billable Items:  In addition to the billable items placed onto your student account, there are other costs to the program that you should consider.  These include round trip airfare and miscellaneous expenses that you may incur while you are on the program (examples include additional meals, local transportation, books and educational materials, visa fees, and personal travel.  They are listed below to help you budget for your study abroad experience.
 
Airfare to Europe:                          $1,200
Visa Fees:                                       $100
Miscellaneous Expenses:             $2,500


The Program Charge and Study Abroad Admin Fee will be billed to your student account during the semester in which you are participating in the program.  These charges are in addition to Lewis tuition.  ALL of the financial aid (grants, loans, and scholarships) that you receive to attend Lewis University may be applied toward them to help defray the costs of the program.  

Participants are encouraged to also seek external funding to further reduce the costs of their study abroad program.  Using the resources available in the Funding/Scholarships section of this website is a great place to start looking for that funding.
